We all know the saying "No Scotland, No Party"
To make the point, there will be a big party on the evening of June 12th, 2026, in Boston, Massachusetts.
This is the night before Scotland play their first game at a World Cup since 1998.
12TH JUNE 2026
Boston is known for its sporting franchises and is used to hosting high-profile events, but they will never have seen an invasion of the magnitude expected in the second week of June.
The city will be a wall of tartan.
OUR VENUE
THE ROYALE
A famous old venue in the city centre - The Royale - has been locked down.
For some months now, the team behind the Buddha Bar party in Paris in 1998 and then Munich in 2024 have been hard at work to make this come together.
OUR CAUSE
There is no goal of financial gain from the organisers — all proceeds after costs are being donated to Street Soccer Scotland in exactly the same manner as in Munich 2 years ago.
That night raised £450,000 for the celebrated Scottish charity.
Street Soccer Scotland is a trailblazing charity that has been transforming lives since 2009, using the universal language of football to bring hope, connection, and opportunity to people facing some of life’s toughest challenges. At its heart is a simple but powerful belief: football can change lives.
Across Scotland, the organisation delivers free, inclusive football sessions that break down isolation, build confidence, and create community for adults and young people experiencing homelessness, poverty, addiction, mental health difficulties, or social exclusion. With more than 60 weekly drop‑in sessions, their programmes offer safe, judgment‑free spaces where anyone is welcome and supported.
The results are remarkable:
- 89% of players report improved wellbeing
- 82% feel more hopeful about their future
- Over 25,000 people have engaged with their programmes since the organisation began.
Founded by David Duke MBE, whose own journey from homelessness to humanitarian leadership inspires everything the organisation stands for, Street Soccer Scotland is proof that community support and the spirit of the game can help rewrite lives.
SUPPORTED BY
The Hunter Foundation were integral to our fundraising efforts in Munich,
and we are grateful and excited to have their support as we go to Boston.
Up until now the evening has been softly marketed so that a base camp of revenue could be established.
